
IBENA - regulations for buying and selling foreign currency in the form of banknotes in banks and currency exchange offices have been announced, aiming to strengthen the efficiency of the country's foreign exchange market and facilitate foreign currency transactions in the form of banknotes.
Under this policy, applicants can buy and sell foreign currency based on fully agreed-upon exchange rates within a formal and transparent framework. Additionally, investment opportunities based on foreign currency deposits in the country's banking network are also available to applicants.
According to current regulations, investment based on foreign currency deposits in the country's banking network is also possible, which can address the needs of Iranian households for foreign currency without the risks associated with physical banknote storage.
